What is Roam?
Roam is a Web3 DePIN project building a decentralized wireless network: millions of OpenRoaming WiFi hotspots plus a global eSIM, with the activity that keeps the network running paying out rewards. In plain terms, you get online through Roam and the network pays you back in points you can turn into its token.
Is it worth it?
One of the safer ways for a beginner to dip into airdrops, because the core action is simply using a real product, not gambling. But set expectations low: the token already launched in March 2025, so there is no big snapshot left to catch — you are farming small, steady rewards. Treat it as a hands-on way to understand DePIN, with any tokens as a bonus.
How to take part — safely

- Check in at OpenRoaming WiFi hotspots to earn Roam Points — this part is free
- Optionally activate a Global eSIM for data (this needs a top-up and KYC)
- Convert your Roam Points to $ROAM in the in-app Burning Pool
