Soneium is an Ethereum Layer-2 built by Sony and Startale, aimed at consumer and creator apps.
Is it worth it?
The Sony backing makes it credible infrastructure, with a large ecosystem and frequent dApp campaigns. But there is no Soneium token and no commitment to ever issue one — an earlier 'Soneium airdrop' was actually a third-party app token, not Soneium's. Purely speculative.
