Pons $PONS
On the chain Robinhood just opened, an office that sets up a shop for anyone — a launchpad that lets anyone mint a coin and takes a fee. The fee buys back and burns its own token.

Big body, shallow water — first impression of this specimen.
Identity — what is this thing?
The answer to ‘what is this?’
Robinhood, the US stock-trading app, opened its own blockchain (Robinhood chain), and Pons is the leading launchpad on it — the same model as pump.fun on Solana. The token $PONS moves like a share of that factory: the treasury uses the launchpad's fee income to buy $PONS and burn it. The registered site is ponsfamily.com/launchpad; the identity above is carried over from the Korean sheet No.0001 (2026-09-09) and was not re-verified in this check.
⚠️ One illusion the name creates — this is not an official Robinhood token. It is a business someone else set up on top of Robinhood chain. That illusion is both the fuel for its fame and its risk.
Quarantine flags
The answer to ‘is this a scam?’ — machine checks in plain words
The issuer cannot print more tokens.
Machine-confirmed this is not a buy-only trap where you can buy but never sell.
The contract is verified, and there is no back channel to swap the code and no wallet holding authority in secret.
There is no switch to claw back tokens that others bought.
36,949 holder wallets, top 10 combined 1.5%. Not a structure swung by one or two wallets.
More than half of the pool's water sits behind a door one wallet can open at any time. There are 159 LP wallets, and the top one holds this much — up from 55.1% at the 2026-09-09 reading. The biggest flag on this sheet.
No value came back on whether a hidden fee applies on buys and sells.

Field notes
A record of going in ourselves (2026-09-03)
Tron USDT → Ethereum ETH → the official bridge (portal.arbitrum.io, toll $0.50, 5 minutes) → Robinhood chain → collected $75 worth on Uniswap. Total friction about 2%. A $75 order did not move the top pool, then about $11M (slippage 0.3%) — the ‘shallow water’ warning is for whales, not minnows. Entry took 5 minutes; leaving through the official bridge takes 7 days.
Where this specimen is decided
Not the price — these three
- Defending market share — competing launchpads on the same chain (LONG, VARO…). In a fee business, No.1 takes nearly everything
- The city's own rise or fall — if the Robinhood chain TVL curve bends, this bends with it
- Burn follow-through — confirm on the ledger that the drop from 1B to 712.1M is real burning (verification pending)
- Machine-checked: mint and take-back authority, honeypot, open source · proxy · hidden owner, liquidity (30 pairs summed) · market cap · FDV · volume · buy/sell counts · price, age, holder count · top-10 share · LP distribution and lock, CoinGecko listing · rank · supply · ATH · venues (2026-09-12 05:06)
- Not confirmed: trading tax (no value returned), burn-address balance (the 287.9M gap is an estimate), team identity (anonymous), who the top LP wallet is, social heat (not measured in this check), Robinhood chain TVL (not re-measured)
- Holdings disclosure: altrookie holds a small amount of this specimen for learning purposes (bought 2026-09-03, about $75). No trades in the 7 days before or after this sheet's publication
- Re-measurement: the Korean sheet No.0001 was measured 2026-09-09; this English sheet re-ran the machine check on 2026-09-12. Between the two readings: market cap $560M → $416.9M, FDV÷liquidity 21:1 → 16.8:1, top LP share 55.1% → 59.5%, CoinGecko rank #102 → #117, distance from ATH -16.8% → -37.8%
- Correction log: the first pass (2026-09-03) filed this as a meme coin and read liquidity from one pair only (66:1); corrected to launchpad, all pairs summed
