People have always traded on what they believe will happen next. March 2025. A team working under the name Opinion Labs raised a roughly $5M seed round, led by YZi Labs (the investor formerly known as Binance Labs), with Amber Group and Animoca Brands along for it. The plan was a marketplace where a forecast, like a sports result or an interest-rate decision, becomes an on-chain position you can buy, hold, or sell.
To make that work you need a referee everyone trusts. So they built Opinion AI, a group of software agents that read the unstructured noise of the real world, headlines, reports, results, and judge whether a market's outcome actually happened. No single human gets to call the winner.
The project tested itself on the Monad testnet first, then went live on BNB Smart Chain and earned a spot on Binance's Alpha Spotlight.
