Holoworld AI HOLO
the no-code conjurer who breathes living AI characters into being
🎭 A tiny sprite that sits at a Solana workbench, sculpts a virtual character out of words alone, then stamps the deed of ownership and hands it to you.
💬 “Tell me who you want, and I'll breathe them into being, a face, a voice, a little will of their own. No code from you, I promise. And when they're awake, the deed is yours, stamped on-chain. They're nobody else's. ✨”
- A no-code workshop where anyone forges an AI agent (a virtual character that talks, acts, and shows up as an avatar), then owns and trades it.
- Each agent is recorded on-chain, mainly on Solana, so ownership is provable. Holoworld has no chain of its own.
- Built by Hologram Labs (founders Tong Pow and Hongzi Mao) and launched as a brand around January 2024.
- HOLO is its token (staking, governance, ecosystem launches), capped at about 2.048 billion. It went live on September 11, 2025.
📖 The Story
Back around 2021, a startup named Hologram Labs was chasing a different dream: holographic identity, the idea of giving people a believable digital face to wear online. The faces were clever, but the world wasn't quite ready to live behind them. So the team, led by Tong Pow and Hongzi Mao, did the practical thing and let the project grow into the shape the market actually wanted.
Around January 2024 that shape arrived. The old face-making lab re-emerged as Holoworld AI, and the pitch was simpler and stranger at once: don't just wear a face, build a whole character. Type out who they are, hand them a voice in a tool called Ava Studio, and out walks an AI agent that can chat, react, and livestream as an avatar. The twist that made it crypto rather than just software: every agent gets minted on Solana, so you can prove the character is yours and sell it like any collectible.
On September 11, 2025, the workshop opened its doors to a token of its own. HOLO went live with a token event and an airdrop, with roughly a tenth of the supply set aside to hand out. The sprite had been quietly conjuring characters for over a year. Now it had a coin to run the place, and a crowd showing up to see what it could make.

🧩 How it works
Holoworld has no blockchain of its own. It's an app sitting on top of other chains, mainly ◎ Solana, where the agents are recorded, with a reach into BNB Chain as well. You start in a creation tool like Ava Studio, describe the character you want, and give it a face and a voice, no coding. When it's ready, the agent is minted on-chain so ownership is provable, and from there it can live in the Agent Market, where agents are bought and sold like collectibles.
🌗 Light & Shadow
- The no-code promise is real and useful. You can build a talking, acting AI character without touching code, which lowers the bar a lot
- Because each agent is minted on-chain, ownership is provable and the character can actually be traded, not just rented
- Supply is capped at about 2.048 billion HOLO, and the token has clear jobs: staking, governance, and joining ecosystem launches
- It's brand new. The token has only been live since September 2025, so there's almost no track record to judge it by
- Capped supply doesn't mean fixed in your hands. Only about 17% was circulating at launch, and more keeps unlocking on a schedule, which can press on the price
- It leans hard on the AI-agent narrative. When that story cools, projects strapped to it tend to cool with it
- With no chain of its own, its safety rests on Solana and BNB Chain, not on Holoworld. And a backer list that name-drops famous people is worth treating with care
🧬 Evolution line
No coin split off to make this one, and it isn't a fork of anything. It's a re-shaping: the same team's Hologram Labs (~2021) shed its holographic-identity story and came back around January 2024 as Holoworld AI. The token is an app living on Solana with no chain of its own, sitting in the same crowded room as the other 2024–2025 AI-agent projects (Virtuals, ai16z and friends), cousins by theme, not by code.
Cousins by theme ▸ other AI-agent projects of the same moment, like 🥚 Virtuals and ai16z. Home ground ▸ recorded on ◎ Solana.

❓ FAQ
- What is Holoworld AI (HOLO)?
- It's a no-code workshop and marketplace for building 'AI agents', virtual characters that can talk, act, and show up as avatars. You can create one without coding, then own and trade it, since each agent is recorded on-chain, mainly on Solana.
- What is an AI agent here?
- It's a virtual character with a personality that can chat, react, and appear as an avatar across apps. On Holoworld you give it a face and a voice in tools like Ava Studio, and because it's minted on-chain you can prove you own it and hand it to someone else.
- Does Holoworld AI have its own blockchain?
- No. It has no chain or consensus of its own. It's an app built on top of other chains, mainly Solana, where the agents are recorded, with a reach into BNB Chain too. So its safety leans on those chains, not on Holoworld.
- What is the HOLO token used for?
- It's the platform's own token, used for staking, for voting in governance, and for joining new ecosystem launches. Total supply is capped at about 2.048 billion HOLO, and it went live with a token event and airdrop on September 11, 2025.
