Banana Gun BANANA
Telegram Sniper Bot
🎭 a jungle sniper-monkey perched in a chat window, fast on the trigger, twice scarred
💬 “I live inside Telegram, watching for fresh tokens. The moment one sprouts, I lock on and fire before the crowd notices. I've tripped over my own peel once, and someone robbed me in the night, but I'm still up here in the canopy, scanning. 🍌”
- What it is: a Telegram trading bot that can auto-buy a brand-new token the instant it launches.
- The token: BANANA is an Ethereum token that gives voting rights and a cut of the bot's trading fees.
- Supply: capped at 10 million BANANA, with most still locked and releasing slowly toward ~2031.
- Two scars: a 2023 contract bug crashed it ~99%, and a 2024 wallet drainer stole funds from users.
📖 The Story
June 2023. A small, mostly anonymous team (the public face is a co-founder who simply goes by ‘Daniel’) switched on a bot inside Telegram. The pitch was plain: when a new token launches, the people who buy in the first seconds often do best, and humans are too slow. Let a bot watch the launch and pull the trigger for you. They called it Banana Gun.
September 2023. The team launched the BANANA token, and almost immediately slipped on a banana peel of its own making. A bug in the token's smart contract, the kind of flaw that had already passed two security audits, let some sellers keep tokens they should have paid as a fee. The price fell roughly 99% within hours, from around $8.70 to a few cents. A coder reportedly fed the contract to ChatGPT and found the flaw in moments. The team scrapped that contract and redeployed a fixed one.
July 2024. The comeback was real. BANANA reached its all-time high near $78.62 on July 20, a long way up from the wreckage.
September 19, 2024. The second scar. An exploit on the bot's front end acted like a wallet drainer and siphoned about 563 ETH from users. Reports put the loss somewhere between $1.4M and $3M. The team pledged to reimburse the victims. The monkey had been robbed in the night, but it climbed back up to keep watch.
📊 Stats
🧩 How it works
You set your rules in a Telegram chat, the bot watches the chain, and when a token matching your rules launches it buys for you in the same instant. Along the way it tries to filter out booby-trapped ‘honeypot’ tokens you could buy but never sell, and it orders its trades to resist front-runners who try to jump the queue. It runs on Ethereum, with manual buying and selling also offered on Solana.
🌗 Light & Shadow
- It does something genuinely useful: acting on a launch in the first seconds, with built-in checks for scam tokens and front-running
- Holders earn a real share of the fees the bot collects, so the token is tied to actual usage, not just hope
- Supply is capped at 10 million and most of it is still locked, releasing slowly toward roughly 2031 (no endless printing)
- It was the first project picked for Binance's HODLer Airdrops, a sign of mainstream attention
- It has been burned twice: a 2023 contract bug crashed the price ~99%, and a 2024 exploit drained about 563 ETH from users (audits did not catch the first one)
- The team is largely pseudonymous, so you are trusting people you cannot fully identify
- Sniping new launches is one of crypto's riskiest corners, full of rug pulls and tokens that go to zero
- The price is extremely volatile, swinging from a few cents to near $78 and back
🧬 Evolution lineage
Banana Gun is not a fork or a chain of its own. It is an application token that lives on top of Ethereum, in the same family as other Telegram trading bots.

❓ FAQ
- What is Banana Gun?
- A trading bot you run inside Telegram. It can auto-buy a brand-new token the second it launches (called ‘sniping’), and it tries to dodge scam tokens and front-runners. BANANA is the bot's token, built on Ethereum.
- What does the BANANA token do?
- It is an ERC-20 token with three jobs: it gives you voting rights over the project, unlocks some bot features, and pays holders a share of the trading fees the bot earns. The supply is capped at 10 million.
- What happened in the 2023 crash and the 2024 hack?
- At its first launch in September 2023 a tax bug in the contract, which had passed two audits, crashed the price about 99% in hours; the team redeployed a fixed contract. On September 19, 2024 a wallet-drainer exploit stole around 563 ETH from users, and the team pledged to pay victims back.
- Is BANANA the same kind of thing as Bitcoin?
- No. Bitcoin is its own blockchain. BANANA is an application token that lives on Ethereum, a key for the Banana Gun bot, not a separate network. It moves fast and is high risk, so only ever try a small amount. (Information only, not investment advice.)
